My husband, Tim, and I spend a lot of time on the road almost every weekend as we travel to one church or another where he teaches and preaches on Sunday. There’s no way we can, nor would we want to, regularly stop at a restaurant on the road for a “sit down” meal. Occasionally is nice but we would rather spend that time getting further down the road (especially if we are heading toward the grandkids … or home). So … we often eat fast food, or convenience store food in the car as we are traveling down the road. Do you know what happens, invariably? One of us will get some food (catsup, mustard, pickle juice, egg, grease, tomato, coffee, salad dressing, chocolate … SOMETHING on our clothes or on the car seat. It’s just “par for the course”.
Do you know what I do about it? I used to carry one of those little detergent pencils, but now I carry the Norwex Travel Pack with the antibacterial microfiber cloths. A little water and one of these cloths will get just about anything presentable again after wearing your food! They get regular use as we travel. I’ll bet they would get regular use in your car too! 😉
Getting windows clean quickly isn’t easy. In addition, many of today’s popular glass and window cleaners contain harmful chemicals, like butyl cellosolve and ammonia. And using paper towels to clean just adds to the problem of overloaded landfills and deforestation.
